What to Expect on the Day of Labiaplasty
On the day of your procedure, our friendly team will greet you and help you get settled in our comfortable, state-of-the-art surgical suite. Labiaplasty is performed under local anesthesia and usually takes around one hour to complete.
Dr. Rokosz will select one of two common surgical approaches. The trim technique involves a continuous incision along the outer edge of the labia minora, allowing the doctor to remove excess tissue with even, precise results. This is usually the preferred option if the patient wishes to eliminate discolored tissue at the edge of the labia. The wedge method entails removing a small V-shaped piece of tissue from each labial lip and then joining the remaining tissue. Dr. Rokosz will select the right approach for achieving your individual goals.
